Guest guest
Haribol to all If you want to heat water (for instance) with the compost make a coil with the pipes on a grid of steel or wood or something and tilt it on its side so it is vertical and pile the compost on. When time to move the compost, it is on its side any way. A chain hooked to the grid could lift it. To keep from breaking the pipe install two valves and a union or quick disconnect between them. Then just shut off the two valves and disconnect the pipe, you can lift the grid up with a series of pulleys or heavy farm equipment the compost will fall off as the grid is on a 45o angle or even vertical. It won't matter to the pipe or the amount of heat the compost provides. Try it you will like it. Carol
