All liquid is collected through the unit and fed off via a plastic pipe into a collection bottle set at a lower level than the bottom filter. Therefore any amount of liquid entering the system is thus taken off for further recycling. The moisture content in the MegaLOO itself is thus rendered correct for the composting process. You do not need to empty the bottle/container every day; simply take off the pipe connection and fit to a new container.
