My predecessor was very much into this EM-thing, he made a fantastic compost with the help of EM. But still I was quite sceptical about it for two reasons: the compost making he did was very machine-work-intensive. He had to turn the compost several times a week (I think in the beginning it's like every day!), it's the question if it is really worth so much energy and endeavor the second reason why I was sceptical was that it looks somewhat strange when somebody advertises something as completely new and world-revolutionary which is everywhere on this planet working anyway... microorganisms So I thought: Well that sounds more or less like a sort of cheating business... But now I was confronted with it again. Somebody sent me a book of Prof Teruo Higa about it which I'm just reading, and it sounds quite reasonable and amazing and I'm already thinking I should go on using EM to improve the soils of our farm.. your servant indriyesa das
