Guest guest
Greetings, This may or may not be beneficial but it is not recommended in the HRM technique. The time frame for sun gazing is from dawn to 2 hours after dawn, and dusk to 2 hours prior to dusk. In our world today the middle of the day brings "too much sun" and therefore promotes skin cancers. Also the eyes can be damaged. The timing has been carefully researched over a number of years. It is one thing to be idealistic and think that we can do things in the name of spiritual ideals which in fact are problematic for that part of us which is focussed in the relative world. As long as we have a physical being we need to pay attention to the laws (dharmas) related to physical being lest we create unpleasantness (karmas). HRM emphasizes slow is better. In fact he points out that to rush the process does not lead to good results. This is because there is an assimilation and a kind of detoxifying which takes place. If we are still toxic then there can be damage to the physical body and eyes. I am very objective about all this. No matter what the claims I have had to be humble enough to know my limits. The evidence was that there was possibility that at my age the longer periods of gazing could be causing damage. On the other hand though I need glasses my prescription has not changed in three years. I credit this stability to the sungazing which I did do. So I continue it intermittantly and with common sense gaze for shorter periods of time. Once a person has gone through the 45 minute process (which takes about 9 months) there is no further benefit beyond 10-15 minutes. Please use common sense in dealing with methods of this sort. This is not a "fast food" process. Bright blessings, John , "skywhilds" <skywords wrote: > > Hi Beautiful People, > > Harsha just invited me to his site from nondualitysalon and I love > what I see.
