Perumal Thirrumozhi - Thirukannapuram Pathigam (Ettaam Pathu)

Dear Srivaishnavas,

Last friday in Sri Parthasarathy Temple (Thiruvallikeni) upanyasam of Swami U. Ve. Velukkudi Swami on Thirukannapura padhigam of Perumal Thirumozhi held. For 4 days this padhigam of 11 paasurams gone very well and friday is the saathumurai of this padhigam.

This padhigam's basic meaning is what are all the Anubhavams got by Maadha Koysalya from Sri Rama, which are gained by Kulasekara Azhwar from Sabari Perumal (Thiru Kannapuram) through this padhigam. Each Gaandam in Ramayana is described in one or more paasurams, except Sundara Gaandam. Since the happenings of Sundara Gaandam are handled in the forthcoming two padhigams, it was not involved in this padhigam.

1 to 3 Paasuram ==> Baala Gaandam

4 and 5 Paasuram ==> Ayodya Gaandam

6 Paasuram ==> Aaranya Gaandam

7 Paasuram ==> Kishkindha Gaandam

8 and 9 Paasuram ==> Yuddha Gaandam

10 Paasuram ==> General and we can consider this as Uthara Gaandam

11 Paasuram ==> Benefit on involving with this paasuram

The benifit we can get is, the anubhavam of Maadha Koysalya and Kulasekara Perumal while we involve in this padhigam.

Swami pointed out a difference between Sri Rama and Sri Krishna is that all nithyasuri were not done kaingaryam in their own form (e.g. Aadhisheshan done kaingaryam in the form of Lakshmana) in Sri Rama avathar, whereas in Sri Krishna avathar it is quite opposite.
