Dear devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Bhaktivedanta Manor is inviting devotees from around the world who would

like to live and serve in our community.

Bhaktivedanta Manor is situated in Letchmore Heath, a picturesque

Hertfordshire village of some one hundred and fifty houses. The temple is

surrounded by beautiful greenery, farmland and villages. The Manor was

donated to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada by the late

Beatle, George Harrison, in 1973.

Housing a beautiful shrine, shop and bakery, farm with working oxen, college

facilities, ashram, primary school, venue of huge public festivals, civil

weddings and Open Days, the temple is now a major hub of spiritual activity.

Our temple runs a wide spectrum of departments, covering various areas of

services, preaching activities and sangas. Every year a great number of well

known ISKCON preachers visit our temple and give their enlivening

association to our devotees and congregation.

Our temple has a magnificent shrine for the worship of Shri Shri

Radha-Gokulananda, Shri Shri Sita-Rama and Shri Shri Gaura Nitai Deities.

The temple offers adequate accommodation in a clean and tidy dormitory rooms

with about 4 (2 for the ladies) devotees staying in each room. The devotees

get healthy and tasty prasadam meals 3 times a day, plus they can partake in

the regular maha prasadam offerings. Our devotees also get regular trips to

India sponsored by the temple. We provide our residents with a minimal

weekly allowance.

We maintain a well attended morning and evening programs with classes on

Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavat Gita. There are ample opportunities to attend

various courses and seminars for those who are fond of studding.

Right now we have a number of services available, like preaching, Deity

worship and assistance to pujaris, cooking and helping in the kitchen,

making garlands and other decorations for the Deities, working in the farm

which includes: growing vegetables, flowers and other crops and looking

after cows, gardening, cleaning etc.

The candidates have to be single men and ladies who are willing to commit to

staying and serving here for a period of at least 6 moths.
