Guest guest
Question from Kaliananda: In Chapter 13 of the Chandi, the King and Businessman are granted the same boon by Divine Mother. Is it correct to say that the two – King and Businessman are only one being. If this is so please explain what part of our consciousness/being is the King and what the businessman? I am thinking that the King is the Wisdom of knowledge of who and what we are and the businessman is the ignorance of attachment to the world. In granting the boon of wisdom and the mind must continue to be fixed on the Supreme. Thanks for your time and guidance Swamiji. Swamiji's response: I think that both the King and the Businessman are within us. The King is named Good Thoughts. He wants to be the King of Good Thoughts and never allow an evil or selfish thought into his kingdom. Samadhi is the name of the Businessman, Pure Intuitive Perception. He is in the business of perceiving intuitively with purity. When he was granted wisdom, then he was freed from impure attachments which obscure his perception.
