Guest guest
Question from Visveshwar: Namaste, I would like to understand the relationship we have with our ancestors and what specific sadhana we should do to enhance it. Why is it important to enhance it? Swamiji's response: Each of us entered into the world to fulfill a certain destiny. Our ancestors prepared the environment most conducive to our receiving empowerment to fulfill our purpose. Therefore, we want to thank our predecessors for performing their jobs so efficiently, because we are certainly well along the road to the perfection of the karma. We are in a good environment, with good associations, with all of our needs provided, performing good karma along with other pure souls. THANKS ancestors! You did a good job! We demonstrate our appreciation to them by providing the same for our children; nurturing them with pure examples and divine inspiration, and respecting our elders in the way that we will want to be respected when we are old. Part of that is puja: especially shraddha and tarpana. The tarpana viddhi is in the Cosmic Puja. We have not yet published the Shraddha, but will shortly during our next series of classes.
