Guest guest
Please go to the web site www.solarhealing.com and follow the instructions given there. It is easy to abuse the process. HRM points out that rushing the process affects the results. There is a buildup and there will be no benefit and perhaps damage to inconsistent practice. It is not just a physical process, it is also a consciousness process and there are many changes, subtle and gross which take place during the process. All are important. The black spots are common and will vary; there will also be other kinds of "spots" as it goes along. Actually what is happening is that the eyes are reacting and the body is trying to protect itself from extreme exposure. It is a good idea, in my experience, to not increase the time but to gaze with the same time the next day as when the black spots appear. And yes, they will come and go. About the overcast days...this is OK. Locate the sun in the brighter area of the overcast and center on that. The effects will continue just as if you were looking at the direct sun. Please do not do the sungazing later than 2 hours after sunrise, or 2 hours before sunset. Questions have risen about "moon gazing". HRM opposes it. However I have talked with several who the moon as a reflection of the sun. Those who have practiced it haven't reported any particular benefit. HRM's concern is that such practice may increase problems for those with problems with depression. It appears that direct sun gazing during the day aids those who have any kind of physical, mental or emotional problems - but is not a "cure" for any such condition. If healing takes place, well and good but there is no promise of such effects. There are periods of detoxing. Some who are meat eaters find a desire to move to vegetarian eating habits and this fades after nutritional needs have been rebalanced. Some remain vegetarian, and most revert to whatever diet they had before doing sun gazing, except they are more sensitive to what is good for them and what to avoid. (Most meat products produced contain toxic substances unless the source is "organic" which means that they are free range fed and supplemented with organically grown grasses. I hope these comments are helpful, and reflect my experience and contact with others who have experienced sun gazing at least through two phases (which means up to 30 minutes). The number of those who make it to the 45 minute level are fairly rare. It is a challenge to be steady and consistent, and the temptation to mess with the process causes distraction and leads to failure. Final caution: When the process is kept pure and the effects allowed to rise naturally, the results are beneficial for the practictioner. When the practitioner adds their own spiritual agenda the process is corrupted with varying results. Follow it as specified and when you have completed it then you can explore if you choose. Michael, HRM's agenda is posted on links to the website. He is not coming to Phoenix this year, but is scheduled to go to Sedona. I went back out a little after 6 and it was up. I did 15 seconds and there was no discomfort to my eyes so I did 15 more seconds. It was a pleasant experience. I did see "black" spots when I came back inside for awhile. I am supposing this is normal. I have never tried this before nor read about it before and am quite excited at the thought of combining it with my daily yoga/meditation time. Or rather doing the sun gazing and then my yoga since the energy from the yoga/meditation would go out the bottoms of my feet were I to be standing on the ground. > Blessings, > Shirley > > John Logan <johnrloganis wrote: > Hello Shirley, > Actually they are very closely related in methodology except to be > involved with some of those in the Breatherian movement may be > solicitating money for their "services" and "products". Guest guest
John, Thank you. Yes, yesterday I finally slowed down enough to go to the www.solarhealing.com and re-read the instructions given there very slowly and realized that I had been in too much of a hurray in my initial morning of sun gazing. This morning the sun was not there because it was such an overcast day. I did look in the direction of the sun several different times within the given time frame and wondered what I was supposed to do. though I did not gaze at it for any time at all, but rather came back into the house and went out again ever 15 minutes or so to check and see it I could see it for the first hour after sun rise time. Consequently, I am grateful that you addressed this issue in your post. Intuitively, I feel that this is very important Spiritually to me and so I want to do it correctly and will keep a journal and continue to re- read solarhealing.com. I have read about the Spiritual benefits of not eating so much, and of not being so focused on the consumption of food, for quite some time. Thus, I have considered Breatharianism, which is relative to the breathing of air for food. And while I do agree that the process of trying to extract what the body needs to keep itself going from solid food puts a very big drain on one's energy system, I don't feel that I could be successful with the process. I am sure that there is more to it than what I have read about, however, sun gazing makes a lot more sense FOR me personally so that is what I choose to do and I understand how it works and know that it will work for me if I follow the correct procedure and, I believe, for most others who will also choose to follow the procedure. Moreover, I understand the health as well as the Spiritual benefits of sun gazing. I am not saying that Breatharianism does not work. I am sure it does, for some persons, however, I am also sure it is not the process that I will choose to try and understand or to follow. I have been vegatarerian for a long time so that is not a problem for me. Thus, I once again thank you for your information. It is much appreciated.
