Guest guest Posted June 1, 2006 Report Share Posted June 1, 2006 TTD to conduct Lord's Kalyanam in Hyd, B'lore,Chennnai once in a year TIRUPATI, JUNE 1 : The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which manages the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala has decided to perform Sri Venkateswara Kalyanotsavam in the cities of Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad for the benefit of the devotees there once in a year. The Union Minister of State for Mines, Dr. T.Subbirami Reddy in his capacity as TTD Chairman told the press at Tirumala that the TTD Board in its monthly meeting today has also resolved to build a multi crore Divya Ksketram (Divine Terrain) with the construction of Lord Venkateswara Temple and Lord Maha Ganapathi Temple on a 3.5 acre land in the Jubilee Hills area in Hyderabad soon. The Board also decided to conduct a five-day Varuna Japam at the holy tank close to the shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala from June 18, he added.
