The following poem is offered at lotus feet of Sai Baba:-

Barhi ummid se aaya hu,

Mai dwaar tere.

Mere dukh door karo,

Sai Baba ! yaar mere.

Hasharat bas tamanna ek hai,

Apne kadamo me mujhe panaah dena.

Jhanjhaa-waato se yadi mai ghirta hu,

Mere Sai ! bas mujhe bacha lena.

Harwaqt bas teri yaad aati hai,

Aur dil ko voh barhi sataati hai.

Aaa jaavo mere Sai, mere Baba,

Tere bin duniya nahi bhaati hai.

Mujhe maalum hai aap sabke hai,

Aur sabka maarg-darshan hai karte.

Esliye he mere Shirdi Sai !

Befikra hu aur kisi se na darte.

Dekho mai aa raha hu Shirdi,

Barhe armaan aur hasharat se,

Mujhe pyaar se bithaana paas apne,!

Ajeeb aas hai jurhi na jaane kabse.

Meaning

= I have come at your door with great hope.Remove my sufferings

O Sai Baba,my life -companion.

=Only one desire & wish i have, take me in refuge near to your feet.

If i am surrounded with the storm (whirpool),O my Sai ! then you

must protect me.

=Every moment i remember you only & this rememberance strikes to my heart.

O my Sai ! O my Baba ! pl come now.Without you this world does not appeal

to me.

=I know that you are for everybody & guides to every one.That is why, O my Shirdi Sai ! i am carefree and do'nt feel afraid of anyone.

=See i am coming to Shirdi with a lot of hope & expectation.You must make me sit closer to you.I d'nt know with which peculiart hope i am connected with you since the time immomerable.
