Dear Prabhus,

 

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

 

In our effort to distribute the knowledge of Cow Protection to the devotees and

to others worldwide we are now embarking on compiling ,publishing and

distributing a small, simple beginning book on Cow Protection. It will contain

quotes from the scriptures and Srila Prabhupada, the Minimum Cow Protection

Standards, and a Resource Guide. We have a private donor for the printing of

1000 copies with the book being about 250-400 pages. Gary Curtin, who is doing

a wonderful job on compiling the cow conference texts on practical subjects on

the ISCOWP WEB page has volunteered to compile the quotes, we have the

Standards and I thought we could once again call the forces of the cow

conference to develop the Resources.

 

Like we did with the Standards, I will start from the beginning of the

Standards and submit the topics, one or two at a time. Please submit any

resources to the cow conference that you have found to be of help to you for

that topic. Things should be a little easier for us this time because Gary will

set up a section on the WEB page where we can all see what we have done so far.

In the end we will decide as a group if all submissions are acceptable and

should be in the final book.

 

This book is badly needed to distribute the Standards in an official way and to

give the importance and practical resources to carry out the importance of cow

protection within our movement. I humbly pray for your enthusiastic

participation. And as we did with the Standards all contributors will be

recognized. This time it will be hard copy and not changeable. Thank you.
