Guest guest
You will be glad to know that cow protection is alive and well in Prabhupada Village (Sandy Ridge, NC - home of the Archives). Adi-karta Prabhu and his wife, Rucira devi, have built a home large enough to house a small temple for the community, until the big temple is built. Surrounding that house are about 20 acres of fields, with a running stream. A small barn completes the setup. They have a beautiful Jersey cow, with her two accompanying calves. The bull is a Devon, chosen to ameliorate the ox-power qualities of any bull calves born. The cowherd boy is Bhakta Chris. There are also other working oxen, owned by a devotee named Rsi. They live in another field, with a new barn. Rsi Prabhu takes excellent care of them. My husband and I have bought a piece of land near the oxen. We are planning to move there in June. We feel confident that the other devotees in Prabhupada Village have the same vision as we do about cow protection. It is such a relief! We will go back to France this summer to tie up the loose ends. Haribol Your servant Aradhya devi dasi
