Guest guest
It is comparatively better in terms of real wealth, which is an abundance of the simple necessities, grains, milk products, cloth. Without having to work in industrial OR agricultural enterprises which poison the earth. Comparitively better when you consider the LONG range impact on our lives of dependence on artificial lifestyle, and that of generations to come. Comparitively better in terms of restoring love and appreciation for the value of bovines beyond the dinner table. Comparively better in terms of the spiritual and long range material benefits of producing everything locally. But it will never work as far as I have observed if you try to mix in the artificial lifestyle with cow protection and try to make it pay off your car and your house. SP advised us to give up dependency on money, then it will work, only then. Then basically one is free from NEEDING money, one may sell a bit of excess, or rent out a guest house or something if one requires a bit for incidentals, but basically one is relieved of the burden of money-dependency. Freedom, huh? Otherwise you have to pay an arm and a tooth for each litre. Puts it out of the reach of poor people (like me). *************************************** There's something I felt to express but I'm sure everyone is all ready aware. The wealth of the cows isn't how to make money with them ;but how they supply us with a portion of our basic nessecities for life (milk, (( I heard you can live off of milk?))also, (( for developing the finner tissues of the brain to understand these things better)) But also an aid in intentionaly helping plants grow with dung. And so many other handy uses like for fire or antiseptic or insence.ect. So actually we can find these things in different quality in other places but they title a certain way of life. The only way to derive the wealth from the cows is to depend on them fully for what they can give us, which is pure. To buy these items from any entity which is in support of their slaughter is connected in some way to the biggest sin. Especialy when there is an alternative. There is a formula for making "good things" happen and it requires all of the ingredients. There may be many ways but this one is garenteed because it was given by a reprentetive of krsna, Srila Prabhupada. There is another valuable thing that the cow produces which isn't often spoke of; And that is the mystic power that comes from them when things are done correctly according to the Vedas.Auspicious things like success given in many ways directly from Krsna because he is pleased. Only then can there be braminical culture. The Supreme Lords first concern is giving pleasure to the cows. In that the same way so many inauspicious things like war are conjured or the failier of some project. from dealing with the cows whimsicaly, selfishly and ignorant. It also seems as though there are too little people, who believe this life of relstionship of depending on the cows works. And don't have enough faith in this system of the Vedas or Prabhupada or Krsna to actually try. also there could be just a tinge of conditioning and attachment and desire for ignorant things in us all to not fully live the life.(speaking mainly of myself)... ****************************************************** I noticed that many devotees on this conference have many feelings of the same direction as for the cows and the life, give or take. Many of the post have the same message in other words expressed by different folks. Ask your self; Would you put your life on the line for the cows?. Will it be me physicaly that makes things happen or will I leave it to someone else?.How bad do I want things to change?. ( I'm talking to myself hoping to make sense.) How to move forward? yr servant, derek, GN ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
