Greetings fellow Krishnites

From my few readings of Prabhupada and chats from much more

knowledgeable advanced souls than I can ever (in this life time) hope to

become it seems to me that taken out of context you can prove (justify) just

about any thing with a quote from Prabhupada. All of his recorded sayings

were rarity generic most of them were to individuals regarding specific

situations.

Prabhupada was pragmatic and sensible and wise. If an elevated soul

wishes to starve to death rather than eat flesh then more power to them. But

to us less elevated souls to save our lives or the lives of our children in

emergencies we can eat flesh. Without blame for our breach of faith That is

my understanding! However guys, that is not what this conference is all

about. This conference is to share information and success, and failure

information. It is to promote help for the temples, and devotees so we can

be prepared to face what ever comes our way.

So let us agree that Prabhupada said many things, some if taken out of

context seem to contradict each other, OK lets not dwell on it. Lets leave

this to our individual spiritual masters otherwise this conference will bog

down. We are here to prepare so well, that we will not have to ever deal

with this question except as an intellectual excersize.

REMEMBER THE FIVE 'P'S PRIOR PREPARATION PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE!

THIS IS THE AIM OF THIS CONFERENCE. LETS STAY FOCUSED ON THE GOAL.

BECOMING SELF SUFFICIENT!!!!!!!
