About a month ago I was almost wiped out by a virus but caught it just in time and then changed my virus protection so that I receive daily updates to try to prevent such occurances. Then about two weeks ago I received an attachment from a close friend who had done some secretarial work for me at a recent temple meeting. I had some free time the other day and I was reviewing my virus program and while checking a log discovered reference to a virus that arrive in the attachment from my friend. My new virus program had detected it an nulified it. I alerted my friend he was unable to detect the virus on his machine - luckly his machine has not suffered, but what if it was a more violent form - who knows. Attachments are dangerous even those which use few macros. ys, Rohita dasa
