Guest guest
I read the Gita-nagari horse power Padayatra article on Chakra. Does anyone know why they are using horses for their Padayatra instead of oxen? At first I thought it was because they no longer have trained oxen. Then I realized that it might be that there are too many regulations about moving cows or oxen -- due to problems with Johnne's disease, hoof and mouth disease and other worries. Anybody know? It would be interesting to find out. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi

I can say he did a number on some of the Ox equipment, which is now left in unusable status for the next guy... And the only ox wagon left on the farm is now his padiyatra cart..( It used to be the Gita Nagari People Bus ) But atleast its doing something now instead of rotting outside with the rest of everything else....... But, I hear he worked with horses before and knows nothing about oxen... So of course his first choice was......? Not oxen... You could say he's preaching Draghting, or distributing Krsna somehow.....And yes Gaura Niti is looking at 2 rumps of Horses with the occasional unpure phecial evacuation.... But their fired up, and on their way to............................. ys, Derek- >I read the Gita-nagari horse power Padayatra article on Chakra. > >Does anyone know why they are using horses for their Padayatra instead >of oxen? > >At first I thought it was because they no longer have trained oxen. > Then I realized that it might be that there are too many regulations >about moving cows or oxen -- due to problems with Johnne's disease, hoof >and mouth disease and other worries. > >Anybody know?
