Fungus symbiosis as replacement for chemical fertilizers

Hare Krishna!

I was not able to read the article, but here in Mayapur the local farmers

soak mustard cake in water for about two weeks or so, until it is

absolutely rotten and foul smelling and has all kind of fungus floating on

the top. This stuff makes a great fertilizer for vegetables and fruit

trees. I am using it this winter to boost up our entire Garden. We have cow

manure as well. However, this stuff is like the chutney in a balanced meal.
