Guest guest
Dear Maharajas and Prabhus, Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! The ISKCON Ministry for Cow Protection and Agriculture would like to thank everyone who has written their realization in response to Ramabhadra prabhu's text and our reply. The development of Krsna Conscious farm communities (safe havens) where devotees can find safety and survival, and where others can come for the same reasons and become devotees in the process, will become more and more a necessity as the world events progress. Srila Prabhupada had foreseen a world war and that our farms would be havens for the world. He desired that the devotees would show the world the way by the example of our rural communities. But sadly ISKCON farms are not ready. To become ready the Ministry for Cow Protection and Agriculture, through the COM Cow conference, will develop a proposal to be presented to the GBC. (The Cow conference has been responsible for writing the Minimum Cow Protection Standards which are now ISKCON Law 507.) The proposal will present a 1 year plan, 2 year plan, 3 year plan, 4 year plan and 5 year plan as to how the devotee community can revigorate the present ISKCON farms and facilitate qualified devotees to get situated on the land. With the GBC approval of this proposal, support on several levels is gained which helps this Ministry move forward in approaching others in the implementation stage. The cow conference has been an active public conference since 1993. If anyone wishes to contribute, observe, etc. they may become a member. Any questions in this regard can be sent to iscowp (AT) earthlink (DOT) net, cow (AT) pamho (DOT) net Once again we thank everyone for their realizations. Guest guest
Dear Chayadevi and Balbhadra, Thankyou for your good timing in writing this letter. Making the best use of a bad bargain! Might you like to send it to CHAKRA? I think they will print it. It will reach a LOT more devotees that way. editorial (AT) chakra (DOT) org ys, Niscala _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

Great news! At New Vrajamandala in Spain we are already heading in this direction. Slowly slowly the right kinds of people are being attracted to stay here. But we could really do with some step by step guidance. Thank you for offering this much needed help. Your servant Samba das
Guest guest
Dear Dave, If you are in the city to make money for the cause of cow protection, your heart is in it and that's all that counts. Just like SP went in body to the west but his heart stayed in Vridavan. And while in the west, he served the cause of Vrindavan. So you are nicely following in his footsteps. Thankyou for taking on the urban austerity. ys, Niscala _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
