Guest guest
Dear Balabhadra and Chayadevi prabhus, please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila prabhupada! Although I am such an insignificant nobody I must tell how much I appreciate your hard service and effort to push forward the realization of Srila Prabhupadas's wish that in his ISKCON cows, children, women, devotees .... are protected. Especially in horrible days of war when naturally everyone seeks Lord Krsna's help and protection. Two years ago when Serbia was bombed, by the mercy of Lord Jagannatha I found shelter with my two children at the lotus feet of Sri Sri Dayal Nitai-Vijay Gauranga in great Budapest. By the mercy of Sivarama Maharaja and the nice devotees there we obtained the service and were well cared of. But our minds were filled with rumours that the war will spread also to Hungary. I will never forget how much I wished and longed to live with my children on New Vraja Dhama farm at the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha-Syamasundara also in Hungary, far from that great, busy city. This was the only place I would feel really safe and protected. Now when I read your letter I feel with all my heart your strong care and ask myself also what will be with all Krsna's children, with all Srila Prabhupada's beloved devotees, the majority of which live in cities, who will not find their place on ISKCON farms if a war begins. You should be in that situation to know what that means. Do we really need to find ourselves in such a horrible situation to be able to appreciate what a cow and a land mean? I really cannot understand why Srila Prabhupada's followers do not hear this longtime cry and Srila Prabhupada's wish that Krsna's cows, children, women and devotees have to be protected. Do we really have to see them crying and dying to realize that we have made a mistake or were negligent? I do not know how to express my gratitude to you both for everything you do in order to fullfil this great wish of Srila Prabhupada and for your care for every Krsna's cow and all of us, his devotees. I only can pray and pray to Lord to be so kind and help you win this battle and wish you much success in all your efforts. Your insignificant servant, Paramesvari

As we all > know Srila Prabhupada had the answers, all we need to do is implement them > and that does not mean just one or two devotees that means all the > devotees joining forces to provide rural havens for the devotees and the > lost souls of this planet. > > Please contact iscowp (AT) earthlink (DOT) net and /or cow (AT) pamho (DOT) net (COM conference > of devotee cow protectors) to find out how this implementation can begin. As they say, charity begins at home. It does seem like a good idea to invest any funds we might have to spare to ensuring that any people who may be devastated by future disasters, (and such disasters look more and more likely as the days pass) may be able to find shelter, and a new way of life on ISKCON's farms. May I suggest that if ISCOWP does get some funding, that you please prouduce a booklet that explains just how you managed to develop such a nice self sufficient program on your small land holding, so that others can immediately begin to learn. Thanks Prabhus. Your servant Samba das

I just figured that if $30,000 arrived in the bank they could do a whole lot with it. It seems such a waste that in the movement that is supposed to actively uphold and promote the lifestyle they have acheived, that they are forced to work outside to make ends meet. I mean just look at what they are doing without funding, it stands to reason that with funds they could do a whole lot more to get the message to our devotees. By that I mean that they could employ people with the skills they need. YS
