Guest guest
Dear Prabhus, PAMHO. AGTSP. Mark has written a beginning outline. I have made some commnets. How does the why sound to everyone. I am thinking simple is better. Your servant, Chayadevi > > Let's start with WHY. > > > Therefore we are presenting an outline of necessities > for developing and maintaining KC rural communities > for the purpose of realizing Srila Prabhupada's > mission. Good > > Project Vision: - To maintain, develop and > reinvigorate in a sustainable manner Krsna Conscious > rural communities for the purpose of realising Srila > Prabhupada's mission. Good > > Project Mission Statement 1 - To have in place by the > end of year 2001 a Sustainable Development Audit for > every existing and new KC rural farm community > throughout the world. > > Project Mission Statement 2 - To have in place by the > end of year 2002 a Sustainable Development Action Plan > for every existing and new KC rural farm community > throughout the world. The best time to present it to the GBC is at the Mayapur meetings which is sometime in March usually so by Januaray or February of 2002 or to be safe Januarary 2002. This way we could send it around the world for reviewing like we did the standards-to get more names endorsing and possibly some changes. The more backing the more likely acceptance. > > Project Action Plan 1 - to realise the Project Vision > and Mission Statement 1 via an environmental, > sociological and economic audit of all KC rural farm > communities. (See details). Sounds good so far > > Project Action Plan 2 - to realise the Project Vision > and Mission Statement 2 via location-specific project > initiatives. (See details). May not even be necessary but we should shoot for it. > > > Details - to be written. > > > > Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Messenger. > http://im. Guest guest
> > Why? - why do we need a project (needs-based > > assessment), > > Let's start with WHY. > Chayadevi: > Here's my simple why: Therefore we are presenting an outline of necessities for developing and maintaining KC rural communities for the purpose of realizing Srila Prabhupada's mission. My input: Project Vision: - To maintain, develop and reinvigorate in a sustainable manner Krsna Conscious rural communities for the purpose of realising Srila Prabhupada's mission. Project Mission Statement 1 - To have in place by the end of year 2001 a Sustainable Development Audit for every existing and new KC rural farm community throughout the world. Project Mission Statement 2 - To have in place by the end of year 2002 a Sustainable Development Action Plan for every existing and new KC rural farm community throughout the world. Project Action Plan 1 - to realise the Project Vision and Mission Statement 1 via an environmental, sociological and economic audit of all KC rural farm communities. (See details). Project Action Plan 2 - to realise the Project Vision and Mission Statement 2 via location-specific project initiatives. (See details). Details - to be written. Guest guest
Chavayadevi et al, Thank God for chairpersons. Chayadevi, is it possible for you or someone here to set up a web page with the details of the current and developing Project Proposal. That way there is an up and running and constantly developing outline for all to see and comment upon and criticise. I personally do not have web site skills, but I'm sure someone has. I do not know how you did the Standards, but it would seem very logical to have the above. With all the comeings and goings and throwings that this conference presents it would be good to have something set in flexi clay to refer to, especially if one is off the computer for a few days. I also do not have web skills. Bhakta Gary does the ISCOWP web page but he does not have a lot of time being the a competent brahmarcari at the Soho temple. The standards did not have a web page. Every once in awhile I posted what we had put toghether nad made the changes to it as we all agreed. It would be better to have it posted somewhere so if anyone else has web skills or if Gary feels he has the skills that would be great. > > I do not know how you did the Standards, but it would > seem very logical to have the above.
