When he introduced us to the owners, he said, "This is Noma Petroff and her son Alexander. They're Hare Krsna's." Instantly the man and his wife were in awe, "Oh, Hare Krsna's! Well, you must know a lot about ox power already. They are really the experts at working with the oxen." I felt like you, Derek. I didn't know whether to feel proud or whether to crawl under the carpet in embarassment. Anyway, thanks to the hard work of a lot of people on this conference, the idea of Ox Power as an emblem of the Hare Krsna's is still there on the outside -- even if it's not so visible within ISKCON itself. I thank you ox workers -- but Srila Prabhupada surely thanks you even more. Also, if anyone is interested, BerryBrook Ox Supply finally has their website up and running -- ox power books, videos, yolks, pins, lashes, gift items, etc. Also, speaking about gift items -- now that the holidays are coming, don't forget that many people greatly appreciate ISCOWP ox power T-Shirts. Does Bhaktivedanta Manor or other farms have ox-power or cow-related gift items? It's always important to keep up the cow/ox propaganda. ys hkdd
