Guest guest
Sorry I have not kept up with these proposals very well. This is a busy time of year for me at work. But, I am worried about the fact that I did not see a proposal for Vrndavan. Shouldn't there also be a proposal for them? -- as they are still breeding animals without a specific plan for the training and care of the bull calves they produce -- and they still do not have sufficient land to sustain their animals, nor do they have a solid economic base to sustain them -- as emphasized by the fact that they believe they must breed more animals to produce milk, since milk sales are the main means of raising funds to support the cows. This plan is like a poverty stricken welfare mother who keeps having more children (though she is increasingly less able to take care of them with each additional child) solely to get the additional money from the government for each child. This is a wrong-headed, self-destructive modus operandi, and it is against ISKCON's cow protection laws. It must be stopped. Or, as I say -- has the Vrndavana stop-breeding proposal already been posted on the conference and I missed it? At the very minimum, I thought it was agreed they should definitely breed no more than 5 cows per year until they have more grazing ground and a solid program and trust fund put in place for funding. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi "ISCOWP (Balabhadra Dasa & Chaya Dasi - USA)" wrote: > Dear Prabhus, > > PAMHO.
