Guest guest
Dear Chayadevi Prabhu, PAMHO AGTSP Please can you give more of a financial breakdown of how the two sections of budgeted money would be used. a, home office. b, ministry reps travel costs. This qustion will most probably be asked and so it would be important to be ready to answer it. regarding the ministry reps travel costs what do you see here and what are the breakdown costs. i.e. Minsitry rep from NV traveling to all USA farms would cost? ys syam
Guest guest
The ministry rep travel costs locally (USA) are not hard to figure out and amount ot very little, but on any other level it would be difficult to know at this point. We have received letters of persons internationally interested in checking but they they have no travel money. If the funds were available then something could be worked out. The other scenerio is that no one expects the GBC to allot any money to the Ministry of any consequence so no one wants to bother with seriously considering how much money it would take to travels. If the money is there it is anohter scenerio. As far as the office that is not as hard to figure, but I don't think they want to see this in the proposal as there is a request to keep it short. I have made many many budget proposals to the GBC and I don't think they even looked at it. So, I am quite hesitant to do so and more in the mood to see how far the proposal gets and then write something up when requested or it is necessary. I am open to more input on the matter. Having participated in a number of GBC meetings, I would say that you must put some figure in as your proposed fund requirement. The GBC never passes open-ended budget requests, to my knowledge. Guest guest
Dandavad. Prabhupada kijaya! The proposal is good. However, it might strengthen your case if you could give some breakdown of how the funds would be allocated beyond just 50% for home office and 50% for travel. For example you could specify XX hours of your time or XX visits. The more specific the better. Your servant, Pancaratna das
