There is currently a service or job opprtunity available at Bhaktivedanta

Manor for an OX DRIVER AND FARM WORKER

 

The post will involve:-

 

Driving Ox teams

Harrowing and rolling fields

Manure handling and spreading

Ox cart/wagon transportation

Driving School groups by ox wagon

Ox training

General farm work as neccessary

Some participation in the milking schedule may be required

 

The applicant should be self motivated and be able to work by oneself and

also in teams. The requirement to take occasional and regular responsibility

for casual and volunteer assistants is neccessary. Experience in farm work

and ox work is important or at least one should be able to demonstrate ones

suitablitlity for the post. As the role involves interaction with the

general public the person must be polite and well presented

 

Accommodation is available for this post depending on ones family status. We

would prefer married persons although single persons who are looking for a

long term engagement will be considered.

 

There is a modest salary available for this post. You wont get rich but you

will be ok.
