Guest guest
I think the quotes (from Srila Prabhupada - just posted) describe the "sick" that Gopal was referring to. I think it would be safer to "digest" the body and change the chemical structure than to bury it. Changes occur in and to the land such as water table variation, construction, landscaping, wildlife digging/tunneling, etc. It seems that it would be better all around to deal with it like "biohazard" objects and substances and actually destroy the disease than to bury it. If it were to be buried, we would probably need to block off the whole area, dump salt, concrete, briar, and post signs in 8 languages so no one would go there - like radiation sites. I'm exagerating - but only a little. Having the diseased body - if this ever occured in the devotee communities - transported to these "digestion" contraptions or bringing the contraption to a farm would probably cost a lot of money. I think it would be worth it. I wouldn't want anyone - devotee, non-devotee, animal, crop, etc. anywhere near the contamination. Isn't it illegal to bury mad-cow disease animals? It seems like the government would have all sorts of rules for this.
