Cow dung-urine medicine - effective against e-coli risk?

One thing I have been wondering is: in North America, how does the

arrival of e-coli bacteria impact the benefits of a formula like this?

Everyone knows that a number of people have been killed from e-coli

contamination, especially from manure mixed with meat. I was just

wondering, have any of our many scientific devotees done any controlled

tests which would show that this particular mixture can indeed kill the

e-coli germs?

If not, possibly this formula was more effective in Vedic times. Or

possibly it's more effective in India if they don't have an e-coli

problem there.

Either way, it seems that some controlled scientific tests are really

needed before we promote something like this. Otherwise, it seems like

we are taking a gamble. Won't we run the risk of ending up looking like

real cult members if we promote cures like this -- and then someone dies

from using them -- simply because we didn't test their effectiveness on

a new pathogen that was not part of the Vedic environment?

Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone has done research on this since Dr.

Goshal's experiments in the 1940's.

There doesnt seem to be an E coli problem in India yet. I believe only the

dung and urine etc of Indian desi cows should be used for pancagavya as

their urine milk etc contain enzymes not found in the western breed's

urine etc.I have read that microbiologidsts agree that E coli is a

harmless organism and found in normal healthy intestinal tract and non

pathogenic. They say if the mucosa becomes affected by changes in the host

then the E coli may become pathogenic ie, E coli is not the primary cause

of the disease which originates in changes in the host. It seems E coli

disease comes from manure mixed up with meat. America is very hysterical

and paranoid about germs and there is not good scientific

understanding. Better not produce pancagavya there. In this booklet T.

Narayan says he has succesfully treated AIDS patients with pancagavya,

that although their blood still showed Hiv positive all their symptoms

of disease went away because their immune system became strong.
