That might be a good thing to start while your Bhaktishastri teacher can't be there. Also, by hearing Srila Prabhupada's conversations about the importance of cow protection and living off the land, your students will more easily relish the concept of simple living, high thinking. I was thinking, if you do start sessions based on the Prabhupada Varnasrama book, you might start with Chapter 4: Get All Your Necessities from the Land -- instead of starting earlier. Srila Prabhupada really packs that chapter (London, 25 Nov 1973) full of analysis which is central to varnasrama -- including the principle that it is the duty of human society to keep the cows happy, and that the land can supply all our necessities of life.
