So, the date of nominations has been extended to February 3rd. Let us not lose focus-how many names would not be too much? Does anyone have trouble with any of the names mentioned so far. If you do not want to say anything in public you can say so to iscowp (AT) earthlink (DOT) net privately and the objection can be anonymous. Any others besides the below? and Is there anyone in particular for teh Hungarian Farm? 1) Syamasundara das (Bhaktivedanta Manor) 2) Nanda Krishna Prabhu (Mayapur) 3) Kurma Rupa prabhu (Vrndavana Care for Cows) 4) Hungarain Farm (any particular person here?) 5) Nandanandana prabhu(Vrndavana Goshalla) ( although the Vrndavana Goshalla has not a good past and the present is questionable, Nandanandana and his wife have been there doing and overseeing the everyday service for 20 years or more through all the changes of goshalla and temple management)
Guest guest
How’s this? The following devotees are nominated by The ISKCON Ministry for Cow Protection and Agriculture, ISCOWP and members of the COM Cow conference for the recipients of the Global Excellence awards for Cow Protection. Each devotee plays a unique role in the development of Cow Protection within our Krsna Conscious society. There are many others also who are not mentioned who daily perform hands-on service to the cows in quiet and usually unnoticed ways. These un-sung heroes are in the hearts of those nominating and in those nominated. 1) Syamasundara das Manager of Bhaktivedanta Manor Goshalla in England which is the most long term successful ISKCON centralized goshalla 2) Sivaram Swami Pioneering in the development of an ISKCON farm project based on cow protection and simple living from the land in Hungary. 3) Labangalatika dasi and good husband Prakash Malik Most successful representatives of Srila Prabhupada’s vision of cow protection with India’s political and social leaders involved in cow protection. They also maintain their own cow protection project in Raigad, India. 4) Kurma-rupa das Pioneering in the development of the first Hare Krsna pinjrapole by providing shelter and care for Vrndavana, India’s injured and abandoned cows. 5) Nandanandana das and wife (name?) Twenty plus years of service to the cows in Vrndavana Goshalla through many challenges and obstacles. 6) Nanda Krishna das Professional veternarian serving the Mayapur goshalla at the forefront of progressive changes within the goshalla. 7) Gour Hari das Goura Hari Prabhu (JPS), who is taking care of Mayapur Goshala through thick & thin & floods, (anybody know how many years?) 8) Devahuti dasi Hands-on manager and principal cowherd for the devotee community of Alachua, USA’s cow program. (anybody know how many years?) 9) Kaulini dasi Involved in Gita nagari’s cow program for 14 years primarily in the milking cows capacity.
