Guest guest
Haribol. In case I wasn't clear in what I was saying about continuing the Alachua Padayatra idea, I'll try to say it better... My idea was that oxen presently in the Alachua pasture could do it continuously for the Alachua community after Padayatra America leaves. It seems that due to work schedules and devotees being busy during the week (school, etc.) that it might not work on an everyday basis, but Saturdays, Sunday Feast Days, or at least every festival. I think horses are great and that they should also be engaged to their propensities! I don't know if any devotees in Alachua maintain horses privately. The temple does not have horses. There are oxen who have been worked and are workable, as far as I know, on the temple property. Maybe a devotee would Volunteer to do that service - since it's not heavy duty in the sense that (a) Primary working cowherd(s) who work the field-working oxen could, would, should be Paid as the main Ox Power Program. This is obviously all hypothetical at this point. There is no Ox Power Program. (Yet.) Maybe this again isn't clear. Sorry. Just thinking... Alachua is such a perfect place for all this. So many devotees. So many resources. So many cows. So much land. It's very exciting to me.
