The Beschirrung of the animals is a unfortunately often only unimportant

regarded aspect of the cattle strain, although he is extremely important.

In history it gave, partly also many kinds of the strain and Beschirrung

next to each other and competing. We favor today however the

Kummetanspannung after stone-cutter (s. bibliography). It is the optimal

kind of strain. It is adapted, extremely flexible and besides outer only

efficiently to the anatomy and the course of motion of pulling cattle.

 

It exist out a padded Kummet mobile in itself. The traction power is

removed in the schulterblatt of the cattle. Thus the Lastabnahemepunkt is

because of a place, which does not impair the course of motion of the

cattle. Besides the zugwinkel can be kept flat, which increases the

efficiency of the tractive power. The course strands are fastened to the

Kummet.

 

Depending upon strain (doubles or simply) the table-ware is fixed over a

belly belt. The stopping possibilities for the car which can be pulled are

over given at the pole fastened chains or the back table-ware, which are

hung up into the shears.

 

 

The procurement of good Geschirre is today a small Herausfordeung. Still

existing Geschirre is usually in bad and useless condition (leather

inflexibly and no longer loadable) besides only rarely completely. They

serve if necessary as collecting main for a creating anew or as decoration

implement. There are however no more upholsterers, who want to make or know

such Geschirre. Often only the search for an upholsterer, whom one must

persuade then to nevertheless perhaps provide a Kummet and/or a complete

Beschirrung, remains.
