Okay, now I understand. I thought that they were bathing bulls at

ISKCON's Mayapur project, which belonged to the temple. Now I

understand that it was their own bull. Now I can understand Hrimati

Prabhu's apprehension.

Not exactly what I was thinking. I was thinking better to kill camels

than bulls -- but by your explanation, I can see that the intent is to

kill both. That's certainly not good.

 

As for sacrificing cows -- that is prohibited in Kali Yuga -- along with

marrying your brother's widowed wife, offering meat to ancestors, taking

sannyasa or even sacrifising horses. You are right, sacrificing cows is

not auspicious in this age.
