Guest guest
With regard to building an animal powered grain mill, an important possible source which I forgot was Tillers ox training school in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When I visited in 1992, they had 2500 tools. Now they have 4000 tools, including grain binders, ox-powered treadmills, etc. I know that they also had an active sorghum crushing mill when I was there, so possibly by now they have additional mill equipment. Whoever has a chance should definitely visit them. Syamasundara, if you don't have any devotees coming to the US soon, you may like to just e-mail them. They are pretty favorable to the devotees. Also, the suggestion to check into local historical mills societies is a good one. My impression is that there are still many historical mills in UK which are well maintained. ys hkdd http://www.wmich.edu/tillers/about/collections.html
