Guest guest
I think this has already been submitted to the GBC. It looks like a plan which will greatly undermine the effectiveness of ISKCON's cow protection programs in India. Now ISKCON's goshallas in India do not have to have plans for the lifetime protection of any calves born. They do not have to have an adequate land/cow ratio. They may give cows to "approved" goshallas outside ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada stated, "Our cow protection programs in India must be exemplary." Clearly we have pushed Prabhupada's idea away as simply impractical. I'll send a couple more documents. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi > [Original Message] > (Temple) Jaipur (India) > Bhaktarupa (das) ACBSP (Bhubaneswara - IN) ; ISCOWP (Balabhadra Dasa & Chaya Dasi - USA) > 12/22/2004 8:00:06 AM > ICC cow protection sub-committee > > Dear Balabhadra Prabhu > > I am writing on behalf of the ICC Cow Protection Sub Committee.
