Guest guest
Interesting. Maybe they were very small bullocks. My son did ox power workshops in Uganda and the oxen in the photos were very small, between 3 and 4 feet high -- not like the shoulder-high Brown Swiss we had at Gita-nagari, nor like the giant Chianina's at the Topsham Fair, which tower over my head! I can't imagine 8 of them yoked together. your servant, Hare Krsna dasi Madan Gopal (das) RNS (Chowpatty, Mumbai - IN) wrote: >Dear prabhus, > >Please accept my humble obeisances. >All glories to Srila Prabhupada. > >I once read in one book which had translations of Manu samhita which said >that it was very sinfull and a person would go to hell for using less than 8 >bullocks at one time for ploughing.
