Guest guest
On Manu-samhita "The revealed scriptures, like Manu-samhita and similar others, are considered the standard books to be followed by human society. Thus the leader's teaching should be based on the principles of such standard sastras." --Bg. 3.21P "The Manu-samhita is the standard lawbook for humanity, and every human being is advised to follow this great book of social knowledge." --Bhag. 2.1.36P "As we learn from the history of the Mahabharata, or "Greater India," the wives and daughters of the ruling class, the ksatriyas, knew the political game, but we never find that a woman was given the post of chief executive. This is in accordance with the injunctions of Manu-samhita, but unfortunately Manu-samhita is now being insulted, and the Aryans, the members of Vedic society, cannot do anything. Such is the nature of Kali-yuga." --Bhag. 10.4.5P Thus if the Manu-samhita says that we should not ride on the backs of bulls, then we should not ride on the backs of bulls. Sorry, somehow I mistook the topic -I thought it was about riding oxen, not bulls. I would certainly never try to ride a bull, and anyone who needs a scripture to figure out he shouldn't ride a bull has bigger problems than that to work out yet in their lives in any case (based on their lack of common sense exhibited by having to have someone else tell them not to ride a bull).
