Guest guest
My son Astottara (Alexander) just started a summer internship at Tiller's new facilities at Scotts, Michigan -- about 15 miles from their old place in Kalamazoo. The old place they rented was about 12 acres. The new place is 450 acres, and they plan to build farms from three different historical eras. At the end of the Oxen Basics class they will be hosting the 8th annual Midwest Ox Drovers Gathering, . Devotees from the Midwest may want to attend. Here's the description from the Tillers website: ************************* Midwest Ox Drovers Gathering Fri-Sun, June 25-27 Join many of the 200 members of the Midwest Ox Drovers' Association to trade tricks. Enjoy the parade of teams or plowing behind oxen. Challenge others to an obstacle course. Test drive teams and get driving tips from the masters. Bring your team and offer inspiration for the Oxen Basics students. Admission fee: $5.00 per car ********************* For a map to the new farm location - click "come for a visit" on Tiller's home page http://www.wmich.edu/tillers/ your servant, Hare Krsna dasi
