Guest guest
Dear Pancaratna prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP. Could you give us a resport on how things are going with the development of the cow program discussed on this conference. if I remember correctly your last letter stated that you were going to have meeting and would get back to the conference on the results and progress of the project. I have begun to put the discussion in the ISCOWP news and wil carry it through several issues since there is so many good points and facts for anyone considering beginning such a project. it would be interesting and encouraging to know how it is working out so far. Guest guest
Dear Prabhus, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I am looking for a place for developing a Varnasrama College in the U.S. that has plenty of local water for growing crops, good soil and moderate year round weather. I was wondering if you know of any place in America that would be a good for this? Thank you very much. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. What temperature range are you considering? What price range are you looking in ? How large a piece of land are you looking for? Can you give an outline of courses for the Varnashrama college you are propossing to develop? You may want to consider parts of Tennesse, Alabama, Arkansaw. To answer some of your earlier questions pertaining to herd count by gender. New Talavan: 51 females 70 males Gita Nagari 10 females 14 males New Vrindavan 123 total animals cows are on pasture. I'm still trying to get a count from the summer herdsman. ys, Balabhadra das Rabindranatha replies: > Rabindranatha (das) ACBSP (Los Angeles, CA - USA) <Rabindranatha.ACBSP (AT) pamho (DOT) net> > ISCOWP (Balabhadra Dasa & Chaya Dasi - USA) <ISCOWP (AT) pamho (DOT) net> > 7/7/2004 3:40:03 AM > RE: Varnasrama College > > >What temperature range are you considering? > > In a place that at least in most years has no frost or snow. > > >What price range are you looking in? > > At this point I am not thinking in terms of how much "Do something wonderful > for Krsna and the money will come." -Srila Bhaktisiddanta (As quoted by > Srila Prabhupada) > > >How large a piece of land are you looking for? > Enough to accommodate over a thousand (1000) facility members and students. > >Can you give an outline of courses for the Varnashrama college you are > >propossing to develop? > > Vedic literature; such as Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-gita, Mahabharata, > Ramayana, Upanisads, Vedanta-sutra, etc. All the works of A.C.
