I once read in one book which had translations of Manu samhita which said that it was very sinfull and a person would go to hell for using less than 8 bullocks at one time for ploughing. If e uses less tha 8 bullocks than he doesn't care for the bullocks. The mother earth cries seeing only 2 or 4 bullocks pulling the plough.
