Guest guest
I am aware that they have machines to milk the cows... However, their demoniac way of factory farming that does not work. As soon as there is a power outage or major Storm or something like that, just see what happens... I have witnessed 5 major floods in Mayapur, where the life (not just the milking) of the 150 cows in the Mayapur ISKCON Goshalla was at potential danger. But due to the loving care and the combined afford of the entire devotee community, all the cows, bulls and calves were safe and sound. Milking was going on with or without hired workers. Even if our general Manager has to help do the milking, milking is going on by hook and by crook. In the devastating flood 2000 I think they only lost one of the older cows. And one Bramachari went with serious injuries to the hospital. He was kicked in the lower parts of his abdomen by one of the Heifers while transporting the herd by boat to the different guest houses. Anyway, I do not believe in this demoniac Factory farming, where every cow is identified by a number and by the amount of milk she yields. Number so and so did not give up to the standards...let her be send to the Renders... Your humble servant, Hrimati dasi
