Guest guest
re Mark John's dilemma. One idea, Those in the temples who buy commercial milk could visit the dairy and purchase a cow or some cows whose milking days are over and who will be sent for slaughter, and likewise some bull calves and acquire land for them and pay for the livelihood of a devotee couple or 2 who do want to live on the land and take care of cows but are not financially independent. This is really an obligation for the city temples and householder devotees. Milk is a luxury and cow protection is a necessity for our society. Srila Prabhupada So unless one becomes responsible householder, how he'll execute his responsibility? If he thinks" OH WHAT IS THE USE OF KEEPING A COW WHEN MILK IS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET ? Oh sex life is so cheap. Why shall I take the responsibility of marrying? " This is going on.
