if a Guru whispers a mantra to a student three times in a right ear,

is this considered a mantra disha ?

any thougths would be greatly appreciated.

YES. Even if the Guru tells it to you somewhat casually, over the phone, or even in the dream state, it is also considered MANTRA DIKSHA too.

THANK YOU ! I actually went to see my Guru , in the process of

blessings , I asked for mantra , there was a pause and then the Guru

whispered a mantra into my right ear rather in a very casuall manner

for a moment I thought it could be a recomendation . thank You again

actually it was Sri Karunamayi , though for the longest time I was

torn between Ammachi and Sri Karunamayi :)))
