Guest guest
for the most part I have been a quite lurker in this group and have not been doing all the excerciss that are suggested but what I have been doing I have noticed a great difference in my life. In fact I have been guided to break down some emotional walls I put up when I was a child I get close to people but I don't allow myself to get as close to people as I should in order for my transformation so my question is how do I do this? Guest guest
"a desperate man/woman prays better than any Saint" It sounds like you have this strong longing to connect and merge and you can use this fire as motivation for growth, but be careful it isn't something that will just pull you apart and split you from yourself. Chanting of any kind can be wonderful for expressing this desire and giving it space. The Adi Shakti Namo, Namo. Kundalini Matashakti...... Pritam Bhagvati Namo Namo mantra works with fullfilling these longings*. Also, the Kriya for Pelvic Balance is guaranteed to make you happy and give you that sense of "rightness", in the here and now, I believe you are wanting. Use this fire to build up your self value. Build your confidence and sense of sovereignty. It is only when we are strong and established well within our self that we can entertain merging in a balanced way with another. Ahamkara** needs to be strong in order to have good relationships. Our true nature is limitless and we need to relate to this aspect of our identity through our daily practice. In the meantime live your life with courage. Take some chances and extend your range of what you knew to be comfortable. Say things you may not have felt free to say before your practice started. Keep pushing yourself to be more genuine, but this is possible only if you know yourself so keep walking this path with your practice. Oh, and another thing - Follow only thoughts that lead to happiness, Yogiji used to say. The walls will dis-solve on their own. Giving them direct energy will only steer you straight into them. Finally, when we dance with others in a rhythmic way we have a chance to step out and transcend ourselves. Get breathless and sweaty! We need to able to relate to bigger, integrated sense of the Prana in the whole world around us, but through our own being-ness. Which brings to mind the need for Archer Pose and NOT cutting any of your hairs. NOT a ONE!, especially if you have a Ten in a challenge postion in your Numerology***. Guest guest
Dharam: I am very interested in numerology, both in working with others and realizing my own true self. I have read a few books, but would really love to dive deeper into the study. Reading does not give me the knowledge I can absorb through experience. Do you accept students or have any suggestions? Guest guest
Sat Nam Guru Gopal Kaur, Sorry for the delayed response. Been extremely busy (damn prosperity meditation really works!). If you're reading all the books and testing out the info, and getting some readings (and asking questions at those readings) from people like Agia Akal Singh, Sangeet Kaur and Nam Hari Kaur you'll be doing what you can. Keep an open mind and pieces will just start to fall together. Fact is, the ground has barely been broken and much has not been documented. The newer book by Shiv Charan is quite good and fills in some blanks for me - go/start.cgi/store/shop.html?showprod=P12001 Also, Guruchander Singh should have released his new book by now. I'll find out next week. I was lucky enough to have been at an early 90's group reading with Agia Akal Singh. It blew me away! Yes, I made a recording. This Ten Body system is not some abstract bunch of mumbo jumbo - it has real time applications and is all around us, all of the time. It's a matter of reflecting....sincerely, and you see. You have the sincere interest. Position yourself so that you can have the teachings around you all of the time (maybe you can check out Gururattan's Teacher's Training or any other other events), and in that environment answers will just come.
