Dear Prabhu's

 

I originally coined this phrase as a place where the management (if they are

the landlords/land holders) do not interfere with the private lives of the

residents. It was a place where individuals had tenancy rights as long as

they farmed, cared for cows or/and oxen in a particular way. in other words

there security of land use was based on farming practices and not on

'sadhana prowess', regulative priciples (apart from meat issues) or

otherwise.
