Guest guest
Just a note to let you all know that with two plastic buckets, a toilet seat, a bag of sawdust -- and a copy of Joseph Jenkins's Humanure Handbook -- you can begin to recycle human manure for food crops. (For those of you new to the Cow conference who are interested in verifying Srila Prabhupada's endorsement of using human manure to grow food crops -- please search the VedaBase for Prabhupada's "Kick Out the West" quote.) And, for those of you who cannot afford $20.00 to purchase your own copy of the Humanure Handbook, it is now available for free, on-line at http://www.jenkinspublishing.com/ The homepage shows a table of publications. At the lower right hand corner, you will see "Humanure on-line." If you click that, you will find a full-text version of the book, organized by chapter headings -- also the appendix, which includes the sanitary codes for all U.S. states. (Also check out the awards section in the upper right-hand corner of the table.) Rural farmers, get rid of your septic system nightmares and get with simple living and humanure.
