Guest guest
According to the rules of linguistic shift, any vowel can substitute for any other vowel, c and k are interchangeable. Jai patickie therefore easily shifts to Jai pataka and we all know Jai is commonly interchanged with Jaya. Just like in "At any rate I thought it would be benificial " the first i can shift to an e and the correct spelling of beneficial will emerge. Not that I think any of this is any more than a little pleasant bantering.
Guest guest
Ok Ok So now it has come to this has it. The point I took the incredible liberty of making is that the devotees generally try to have some standard. Of course now one can make that standard because who are we right. So I just felt it appropriate to mention that Mother Carol should be a little more formal when discussing a ISKCON GBC and spiritual master. It just came off as a bit disrespectful. So to help her I thought appropriat to point the spiritual significance of Srila Jayapataka's name. So maybe you think it should just be ok, so ok already, let it be ok. I simply pointed it out because my wife is his disciple. So I took some offense it his name being used frivously. Maybe I am a little touchy. I definitley have my days. The thing is when it is printed so many people interpert it. If in person, it is a whole different matter. So as many offenses as this fool Dvibhuja Das has created in this lifetime, not to mention al the others and still the Vaisnavas allow me to stay, I surely don't have a lot of room to talk. So I stand corrected, eat humble pie, all of the above. Please everybody forgive me, I am an old cantankerous fart who simply looks for fault in others. I promise if you forgive me this time I will be better in the future.
