Guest guest
<<Now if there is no difference between milk and milk products from karmi farms and those from protected cows, then why did he bother with this massive and expensive endeavour, to produce the same, tasty products? Please answer. . .. Why did he devote purports and conversations to explaining that for society to advance in any sphere, there must be cow protection? Or the dire consequences of not doing so? Why did he aspire to drink the milk of our own cows? Thank you for your intelligent remarks. <<So question is, why are so many of our farms not producing milk, thus denying us the opportunity of this more desirable type of dairy product? Some devotees don't even believe it works. I guess we need to see things work before we develop faith and enthousiasm. But then again, who will take the first step ? Thank you to those fighting (and having fought) against all odds and to this conference for giving association, all to the greater glory of the cows and Lord Govinda. <<You are implicated in the reaction of abuse. As shown in the above purport, the way modern dairying is done, it is greatly sinful, and the reaction is shared by those who support it. Same with anything. We are implicated in that we have not followed Srila Prabhupada's program of making milk products from protected cows easily available to all. Thus, by not surrendering, we are implicated in reaction. (sarva-dharman...) So, to come back to 'interim' ... How do you justify the use of bloodmilk, knowing the implications ? <<The glories of drinking cow's milk are everywhere in Srila Prabhupada's books. <<And the dire consequences of slaughtering the mother who gives it! Jaya. << In the face of not supporting this grossest of sins, if there is no milk production from protected cows, these CONDITIONAL vegans, only taking milk from protected cows, are only trying to please Srila Prabhupada and Gopal, who both love them dearly, I think most vegans are conditional. We are so because we love animals and don't want to subsist through their suffering. We try to live as such, when there is hardly any altenative. We would be happy with cow protection. << Land is not cheap, and its a few years away, but we're slowly getting there. You're very fortunate that it will take you only a few years. It will take me a full lifetime to get a farm together here. Landprices are crazy here ! What to speak of the quality of such land ... It seems hopeless, but i hope I will have the determination and strenght to carry on. Unfortunately everyone's happily spending money using dairy products, but noone has a dime to spare to help me with my project. So, I have decided to stop using dairy products (again) untill the first drops of milk from a protected cow hit the bucket and resound on my farm. And if not, I will be happy to continue 'being a vegan' and will encourage others to do so. I'm sorry... <<There has to be fine brain tissues in order to say, 'Let us sit down and talk about this together. ' Yes, because ultimately it is a natural and intelligent thing to do (I mean cow protection, simple living, farming).
