Milk for good brain power

Please see my 1993 article in Back to Godhead, Volume 27:

"Is Milk for Everyone?" Mar/Apr 1993, p. 12.

Srila Prabhupada said that milk is essential for building fine brain

tissue to understand spiritual matters. Scientists say that no vegetable

sources contain vitamin B12 which is needed for nerve and brain tissue --

but that B12 is found in milk. The article is more fully developed and

contains various Prabhupada quotes.

Still, the vegans are correct that our lack of commitment to cow

protection is problematic. We cannot even get our own GBC to follow

ISKCON Law 507 which requires them to turn in quarterly cow protection

reports.

Nevertheless, milk contains important ingredients for understanding

spiritual topics.

You can obtain the BTG article from Back to Godhead, or by contacting the

Bhaktivedanta Archives.

I hope this helps.
