Yes, we know, and the issue is addressed indirectly in the recently passed

GBC

resolution about ISKCON's cows that was generated from this conference. If

those guidelines are followed, ISKCON cows in India will not join that river

of

cruel death. Unfortunately, there may be some discrepancies in numbers at

Vrindaban and Mayapur goshallas, as reported by outside observers but denied

by

temple authorities.

 

It is safe to assume though, that any cows that leave the direct control of

the

goshallas will inevitably end up slaughtered.
