Better cow protection

Dear devotees, Hare Krsna.

Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

 

To properly protect the cows, I would like to suggest three simple methods

in this direction:

 

1.As soon as possible make an inventory of all the cows, bulls and calfs in

ISKCON property, and in the property of ISKCON devotees.This inventory

should be done regularly every year.This kind of information will make

possible for us to have proper figures at all times, and will give us an

effective mechanism for control.

 

2.Issue a warning statement to every single devotee in our society, who has

cows, bulls or calfs as his own property, and also to every devotee who is

directly responsible for the protection of ISKCON cows.This warning should

say that:"It is highly forbidden to sell, exchange or to give away cows,

bulls and calfs to any other person (even a devotee),without proper

permission of Cow Protection Ministry.This warning should also say that:

"The above mentioned persons should regularly report every change that

occures in their cow-shed, like:

 

-birth of a calf

-death of a cow, bull or calf

-how did the death occure

-what has been done with the cows body

-witnesses who can confirm that the cow didn't die violently"

 

3.The demoniac person (Drumilla), who sold the cows, should be at once

expelled from ISKCON, and only be allowed to attend public programs.

 

There should be no more sympathy and sentimentality for the abusers in

ISKCON.Time has come to finally draw a line on this point, and give abusers

what they deserve.These demoniac persons (childe and cow abusers) are only

polluteing ISKCON, and are bringing bad karma upon our society.If the

responsible people in our society (GBC), dont clean up ISKCON of all these

pedophills, rapists and butchers, things are going to get even worse for

ISKCON.

 

Only by properly punishing the abusers we can protect the most vulnerable

members of our society, and prevent such events from happening in the

future.

this are all good suggestions. have you read the Minimum Cow Standards

approved by the GBC this year?

 

You will see that your 2 general suggestions are incorporated therein.
